Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
You might think it's easy, but removing a boat in Keithsburg from the Keithsburg Boat Launch area can be tricky. Limited disposal sites are always a problem. Our crew dismantles the mast, removes all equipment and electronics from the vessel, and, if necessary, detaches the fly bridge. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels in one piece, some prep work is required. We manage the entire process for you, so your boat is ready for disposal without any hassle. Boat removal made simple.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats in Keithsburg most often need removal after seasonal storage on low lying ground along the Illinois side of the river corridor, where spring flooding can strand vessels unexpectedly. Many owners keep their craft near the Route 17 corridor, and when trailers sink into saturated soil or a boat shifts off its blocks, a professional crew with the right recovery equipment is called to haul it safely to dry ground.
Other common scenarios involve boats left too long at riverside properties along Mercer County's western edge, where erosion and high water create unstable banks. Craft that have sat idle for years sometimes require removal from overgrown lots near the Slough Road area, with teams coordinating a path to the nearest suitable ramp to retrieve the vessel and transport it for disposal or storage.
