Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Kent, the process of boat removal can turn out to be unexpectedly difficult. Many marinas or property owners want old boats removed quickly, but the process often takes longer than expected due to weather, time sensitivity, Nimham Road towing restrictions, and more. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Larger vessels can’t go to a landfill unless we crush or demolish them. Let the AAA Rousse do all the work for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around Kent most often starts at the shoreline marinas and docks along Lake Carmel, where aging vessels are abandoned after years of neglect. Owners also call us for boats left at the Clarence Fahnestock State Park boat launch, waterlogged after seasons of sitting. Ice damage and storm surge on these inland lakes leave hulls in bad shape, making professional extraction the only safe option.
We also handle removals tied to estate settlements and foreclosures near Stillwater Pond, where boats have sat untouched for years. Pontoons and runabouts left in East Branch Reservoir access areas require careful rigging given the rocky terrain and limited road access. Whether the vessel is half sunk or simply abandoned on a trailer, our crew handles the full haul from water to disposal without complications.
