Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Removing an old or damaged boat in Kokomo requires more than an unskilled workforce. It requires professionals. Boats taking up space in yards or parking lots near Silver Creek are difficult to move without damage. Crews use proper trailers and equipment to remove them efficiently. Local restrictions, complicated towing, and strict disposal procedures can hold up the process.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Kokomo, boat removal for older vessels off Foxworth Road usually isn't quick or easy. Boats left in backyards can be hard to extract without damaging property. The AAA Rousse crew will take down the mast, clear off the gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if we have to, to get the job done. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle all of that on your behalf, so you can relax knowing everything’s being done the right way. We do the hard work and you enjoy the ease.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals in this part of Marion County often start at the Bogue Chitto State Park boat ramp, where neglected vessels are left tied up or partially grounded after seasonal flooding. Owners also call us for hulls abandoned along Okhissa Lake after storms push them onto banks or shallow mudflats, making standard trailer retrieval impossible without specialized equipment.
Sunken or storm damaged boats on the Strong River are another frequent call, with owners needing both water recovery and certified disposal before county inspectors issue violations. We also handle dry storage removals from the Marion County Fairgrounds area, where old pontoons and fishing boats sit on rotting trailers and must be carefully dismantled before hauling to an approved recycling facility.
