Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Lake Davis sees regular boat removal needs tied to aging watercraft left at the Lake Davis Recreation Area boat launch and along Grizzly Road access points. Owners abandon vessels after rough seasons, hull damage, or registration lapses. Our crew handles pickups from the water, ramp areas, and shoreline sites, recovering everything from small aluminum fishing boats to larger pontoons that have sat idle for years.
Removal calls also come from boaters who trailered vessels to Antelope Lake or Frenchman Lake and returned to find the boat unfit to haul back. Deteriorated trailers and sunken hulls near Grizzly Campground are common scenarios our team addresses. We coordinate legal disposal, strip usable parts, and ensure no hazardous fluids reach the surrounding watershed, keeping these mountain water bodies clean and accessible.
