Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Mendon residents are discovering that an old, dilapidated boat past its prime isn’t easy to get off their hands. The large size and heavy weight of many boats are definitely a challenge while transporting from the Lock Two Park boat launch. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels in one piece, we manage the crushing or demolition so you don’t have to worry about it. We handle it all - you just relax.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals around Mendon often begin at Eastview Park, where neglected vessels are left beached or partially sunk along the shoreline. Owners dealing with aging pontoons and motorboats frequently call us after winter ice damage leaves hulls cracked and waterlogged. The Mercer County boat ramp also sees abandoned craft that require certified removal teams with proper pumping and trailering equipment.
Storage lot removals are another common scenario, with owners clearing out hulls that have sat untouched at Tri-County Equipment yards or similar facilities off County Road 25A for years. Grand Lake St. Marys draws seasonal boaters, and each off season leaves behind vessels too deteriorated to relaunch. Our crews handle full teardown, gear stripping, and eco conscious disposal for every situation across Mercer County.
