Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Parting with an old boat in Middlebury near the Yauger Park boat launch isn't always a simple task. EPA guidelines for fuel, oil, and hazardous waste must be followed. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Most larger vessels cannot be accepted at landfills unless they are crushed or demolished. Let our AAA Rousse experts handle the entire process.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal along the Kokosing Lake shoreline is one of the most common calls we receive in Knox County, where aging vessels are left half submerged after flooding or neglect. Owners near Hiawatha Park and the surrounding access roads often need full recovery and title clearance services before disposal can move forward. These jobs range from simple trailer pickups to full water extractions.
Inland storage situations are just as frequent, particularly around the Mount Vernon Nazarene University area and properties bordering Dry Creek, where landowners discover old boats buried under years of overgrowth. Many of these vessels have compromised hulls with hazardous fluids still on board. Our crews handle safe draining, dismantling, and certified disposal so the property owner faces no liability.
