Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Taking care of unwanted boats in Monterey demands experience, equipment, and a trusted boat removal team serving the Ghent vicinity and surrounding areas. Partially submerged boats require pumps, cranes, or heavy-duty trailers to remove. Professionals have the equipment and expertise to handle this without further sinking or spills. Strict Monterey and Kentucky disposal laws, towing challenges, and local codes can slow down the process of boat removal.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Monterey residents along Drennon Creek are discovering that an old, dilapidated boat past its prime isn't easy to get off their hands. The large size and heavy weight of many boats are definitely a challenge while transporting. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels in one piece, we manage the crushing or demolition so you don’t have to worry about it. We handle it all - you just relax.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal calls around Monterey often start at the Kentucky River access points and along the shoreline near Benson Creek, where owners abandon aging pontoons and motorboats after flood damage or engine failure. Seasonal drawdowns at Elkhorn Creek strand vessels on muddy banks, and our crews are regularly dispatched to recover waterlogged hulls before they create navigation or environmental hazards.

Storage situations are another common trigger, especially for boats left on trailers near the Grant Lake area or tucked behind rural properties along KY-35. Owners who inherited vessels or simply stopped using them discover titles are complicated and disposal options are limited. Our team handles the paperwork, hauls the boat out safely, and ensures it is processed in full compliance with Owen County environmental guidelines.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used AAA Rousse Junk Removal to help clean out items from our fathers place after he passed away. We were on a limited schedule (we live out of state) and the staff was more than accommodating. After the initial pickup was completed we decided we had more to get rid of and they were able to come the same day. Great service and fair pricing. Great to work with!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The best company I've ever used when dealing with our building clean up. We are in the process of selling and the buyers are extremely unreasonable but after hearing about AAA and dealing with Jennine and her assurance that our property would be professionally cleaned and all cleared (equipment, debris, trash etc..) not only did she deliver on that promise but knocked it out of the ballpark!! Thank you so much AAA and Jennine, we could have NEVER done it without you.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AAA Roussee is the BEST company ever!!! I hired them to help my friend who had a major problem with bed bugs in Miami. We had the place exterminated, but bed bugs are almost impossible to get rid of totally unless all fabric furniture and rugs, etc. are disposed of. My friend is VERY stubborn and would not agree to let them take the expensive rug and other furniture, he just wasn't grasping the importance of that. The pickup guy, Corey, was able to convince him to let go of ALL necessary items, Corey has such a wonderful way about him, I called him "The Bug Whisperer"... my friend fully cooperated, got rid of everything, we will have one last followup extermination check and now there is hope to totally resolve this HORRIBLE problem. This company is the BEST!!!!! Also, Robert, who I set everything up with, is such a great guy... he took a personal interest on the phone and made us understand the severity of the problem and what needed to be done, he went WAY ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty!!!! If he had not bothered to listen and discuss and truly advise and help this never would have been resolved. Thank you Robert and Corey!!!!!! Do not bother with any other company!!! These people are caring and honest and get the job done thoroughly and quickly.
