Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Removing an old or damaged boat in Montevallo requires more than an unskilled workforce. It requires professionals. Boats taking up space in yards or parking lots near Buck Creek are difficult to move without damage. Crews use proper trailers and equipment to remove them efficiently. Local restrictions, complicated towing, and strict disposal procedures can hold up the process.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Montevallo, boat removal for older vessels in the Aldrich District usually isn't quick or easy. Boats left in backyards can be hard to extract without damaging property. The AAA Rousse crew will take down the mast, clear off the gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if we have to, to get the job done. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle all of that on your behalf, so you can relax knowing everything’s being done the right way. We do the hard work and you enjoy the ease.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal in Montevallo most often begins at properties along Mulberry Fork or near the Little Cahaba River, where owners store vessels on trailers in side yards between fishing seasons. When a boat has sat unused for years and registration has lapsed, families call for professional removal to free up space and avoid code complaints tied to overgrown lots.
Other common calls come from boat owners near Highway 119, a main corridor connecting lake access neighborhoods to the south. Watercraft left behind after estate sales or storm damage are among the most frequent jobs. Once a vessel is too deteriorated to trailer safely, crews coordinate a flatbed pickup and haul the hull to a licensed storage yard for disposal.
