Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Removing an old or damaged boat in Mount Gretna requires more than an unskilled workforce. It requires professionals. Local restrictions, complicated towing, and strict disposal procedures can hold up the process.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Mount Gretna, boat removal for older vessels usually isn’t quick or easy. Boats left in backyards near Lake Grubb can be hard to extract without damaging property. The AAA Rousse crew will take down the mast, clear off the gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if we have to, to get the job done. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle all of that on your behalf, so you can relax knowing everything’s being done the right way. We do the hard work and you enjoy the ease.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals in this area often start at Speedwell Forge Lake, where aging vessels tied to docks are abandoned after seasons of disuse. Crews also respond to sunken or storm damaged hulls pulled from Swatara Creek. The mix of private shoreline and public access points along the creek makes each job unique and requires planning before any haul begins.
Storage lot cleanouts near the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center bring in a steady stream of calls, as owners discover boats left behind by previous tenants. Pontoons and jon boats surface at Quittapahilla Creek after flooding shifts them from their moorings. Whether the vessel is on land or partially in the water, the AAA Rousse team arrives with the right equipment to handle the extraction safely.
