Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Effective boat removal in New Hope depends on trained marine specialists with experience. HOAs and marinas — including those along Middle River — can issue penalties for neglected boats. Professionals provide fast removal, preventing fines or disputes. Local regulations, towing logistics, and disposal rules can always slow things down.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

In New Hope, the process of boat removal can turn out to be unexpectedly difficult. Many marinas or property owners want old boats removed quickly, but the process often takes longer than expected due to weather, time sensitivity, towing restrictions, and more — especially for hauls from the Waynesboro Boat Launch area. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Larger vessels can’t go to a landfill unless we crush or demolish them. Let the AAA Rousse do all the work for you.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal around New Hope most often starts at Sherando Lake, where recreational vessels left at the end of the season become a liability for property owners and recreation area managers alike. South Fork Shenandoah River also sees abandoned fishing boats and jon boats caught on sandbars, requiring professional extraction before they block navigation or draw code enforcement attention at Grottoes Access Area.

Closer to developed areas, aging pontoons and motorboats stored behind homes near the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport corridor create nuisance complaints and HOA violations. Landowners along Back Creek frequently call for removal of sunken or storm damaged hulls after seasonal flooding. In each case, AAA Rousse coordinates permits, towing logistics, and eco conscious disposal so the vessel is fully cleared without delay.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
