Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Disposing of a damaged or abandoned vessel in New Square is a task best left to our experienced professionals, especially for boats recovered from Congers Lake. Boats too old or damaged for insurance coverage pose liability risks. Professionals guarantee complete removal and provide liability release documentation. Local compliance, towing logistics, and environmental disposal laws can create roadblocks to removal.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
New Square residents often discover that old boat disposal near Haverstraw Bay is anything but simple. Fiberglass disposal is challenging and limited in facilities. Our crews dismantle masts, clear the boat of gear and electronics, and remove the flybridge if required. Most large boats need to be crushed or dismantled before a landfill will accept them. We’ve got it covered - let AAA Rousse take care of everything for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around New Square often begins at the Rockland Lake State Park boat launch, where neglected vessels left after the season end up abandoned at the ramp. Owners storing trailered boats near the Pascack Brook corridor sometimes find hulls deteriorating beyond road legal condition, making a licensed removal crew the only practical solution for safe extraction.
Waterfront properties along the Hackensack River headwaters in Rockland County frequently call us after a storm leaves a vessel grounded or taking on water. Salvage requests also come from private docks near Minisceongo Creek, where low water levels strand motorboats and pontoons that cannot be floated out without professional equipment and a proper liability release.
