Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Getting rid of a boat in Ore Hill stored at Blue Knob Storage that's seen better days can be a real struggle. Unstable boat hulls create safety hazards during transport. Our AAA Rousse Team will take down the masts, remove all gear and electronics, and, when necessary, detach the flybridge. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle that step carefully, making sure it’s done the right way for both you and the environment. Let AAA Rousse professionals handle it all.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal calls in this area often start at Canoe Creek State Park, where seasonal visitors leave behind aging pontoons and motorboats at the dock area after summers of hard use. Flooding along Bald Eagle Creek can strand hulls on private banks, and owners of properties near the Frankstown Road corridor regularly call for emergency haul outs after storm events push vessels off their moorings.

Storage situations are equally common around Blair County Fairgrounds Road, where landowners discover forgotten sailboats and jon boats rusting in side yards after years of neglect. Junk vessels near the Chimney Rocks area of Canoe Creek State Park also generate removal requests when park rangers or county inspectors flag them for compliance. In these cases, owners need fast, documented disposal before deadline penalties apply.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
