Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
The process of getting rid of a junk boat in Osgood near the St. Marys River is often more challenging than it first appears. Boats partially sunk are extremely difficult to lift, float, and tow. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Larger vessels often require demolition or crushing before they can be disposed of at a landfill. We take care of this step for you, making the entire removal and disposal process smooth and stress-free. AAA Rousse - we do it all, so you don’t have to.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals around Osgood most often begin at private farm ponds and drainage ditches fed by Loramie Creek, where aging aluminum fishing boats sit forgotten after years of seasonal use. Owners near the Ansonia area also call us when pontoons stored on rural properties become unsellable and too deteriorated to trailer safely to a launch.
Flatboats and jon boats that were used on Greenville Creek for decades are another common removal we handle, often requiring off road equipment to reach low lying banks. We also respond to calls involving vessels abandoned at rural storage yards along State Route 119, where hulls have sat unclaimed long enough to draw code enforcement attention.
