Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Pinetown, the process of boat removal can turn out to be unexpectedly difficult. Many marinas or property owners want old boats removed quickly, but the process often takes longer than expected due to weather, time sensitivity, towing restrictions along Tranters Creek, and more. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Larger vessels can’t go to a landfill unless we crush or demolish them. Let the AAA Rousse do all the work for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats left idle along the Pungo River and on flats feeding into Pamlico Sound often sink into soft sediment, making extraction far more involved than a standard trailer pickup. Owners dealing with sunken or storm damaged hulls near Slatestone Creek frequently need a crew experienced in rigging and water side hauls before any road transport can even begin.
Junk boats stored ashore present their own challenges, especially at access points like Jack's Creek Landing where narrow lanes limit heavy equipment. Neglected vessels tied along Blounts Creek or left sitting in low lying yards around Chocowinity Bay can become environmental and liability concerns, prompting owners to call for prompt dismantling, salvage, and compliant disposal.
