Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Placerville, the process of boat removal can turn out to be unexpectedly difficult. Many marinas or property owners near Lone Cone want old boats removed quickly, but the process often takes longer than expected due to weather, time sensitivity, towing restrictions, and more. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Larger vessels can’t go to a landfill unless we crush or demolish them. Let the AAA Rousse do all the work for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal near Placerville most often involves vessels that have sat idle on the banks of the San Miguel River or been stored seasonally around Miramonte Reservoir for years. Owners accessing Sanborn Park area launches frequently find their boats too deteriorated to operate, leaving removal as the only practical option. These retrievals require specialized rigging and knowledge of local terrain.
Gurley Reservoir sees a steady stream of abandoned and storm damaged boats each season, many left by owners who underestimated haul out costs. Trailers stranded along Norwood Hill or stuck off Last Dollar Road after a rough season add another common removal scenario in this area. Our crews handle the logistics from water to final disposal without hassle.
