Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Boat removal services in Pomona must be carried out by professionals to be done right. Boats with seized engines are heavy and difficult to transport from Cedar Lake access points. Professionals use winches, cranes, and tow rigs to remove them safely. Strict local ordinances, difficult towing arrangements, and disposal laws can slow removal efforts.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Pomona boat owners are discovering that boat removal and disposal takes more time and effort than they realized. Shallow waters or sandbars in Pomona — conditions common on Crab Orchard Lake — can make boat transport very difficult. AAA Rousse’s crew handles all the dismantling: removing masts, stripping electronics and gear, and cutting the flybridge if required. Because landfills generally do not take large vessels as-is, extra steps like crushing or dismantling are required. We manage this process from start to finish, ensuring your boat is prepared and accepted without hassle. Stress-free boat removal? Leave it to us.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Abandoned vessels are a common sight around Crab Orchard Lake and the Little Grassy Lake access areas, where owners often leave deteriorating boats after seasons of neglect. In Pomona and the surrounding region, storm damage to older pontoons and fishing boats regularly prompts removal calls, especially after rough weather pushes hulls onto shallow banks or submerged timber along the Big Muddy River corridor.
Storage situations drive many removals too, as boats left at Lake Kinkaid marina facilities or informal lots near Cedar Lake tend to accumulate registration and storage fee problems over time. When owners sell rural properties bordering Jackson County waterways, inherited or forgotten vessels on trailers, lifts, or overgrown back lots become an immediate priority, and professional crews are called in to haul them out cleanly and responsibly.
