Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Port Arthur residents along the Port Arthur Ship Channel often discover that old boat disposal is anything but simple. Fiberglass disposal is challenging and limited in facilities. Our crews dismantle masts, clear the boat of gear and electronics, and remove the flybridge if required. Most large boats need to be crushed or dismantled before a landfill will accept them. We’ve got it covered - let AAA Rousse take care of everything for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal calls in this area frequently involve vessels left to deteriorate along the Neches River or tied up at the Port of Port Arthur docks long past their useful life. Owners settling estates or clearing waterfront property near Hillebrandt Bayou often find a sunken or storm damaged hull that has become a legal and environmental liability requiring professional extraction.
Aging fiberglass hulls stored in yards near the Intracoastal Waterway and forgotten vessels at the Sea Rim State Park boat ramp are two other common scenarios our crews handle. Saltwater corrosion along these Gulf Coast reaches accelerates deterioration, leaving owners with no practical option but licensed removal and eco conscious disposal before local authorities issue citations.
