Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Handling neglected boats in Port Deposit requires skilled crews, especially near Rock Run, to ensure safe disposal. Burned-out hulls may collapse if moved improperly. Removal experts know how to dismantle and transport fire-damaged vessels safely. In many cases, towing logistics, disposal regulations, and local ordinances cause delays in removing boats.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Old boat disposal in Port Deposit often proves frustrating. There is usually limited access to docks or Coudon Cove marinas for removal equipment. Our AAA Rousse marine team handles mast removal, gear and electronics stripping, and flybridge cutting when required. Most landfills won’t accept larger vessels in one piece, which means they need to be crushed or demolished first. Our crews handle the entire process safely and efficiently, so you don’t have to worry about the details. Sit back, AAA Rousse has it covered.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boats left idle on the Susquehanna River near the historic Port Deposit waterfront often deteriorate rapidly due to tidal fluctuations and seasonal ice. Owners with vessels moored at Stump Cove or stored at the Cecil County boat launch at the foot of Route 222 frequently call for removal after storm damage renders a boat unsalvageable. Neglected hulls in these spots are among the most common jobs our crew handles.

Inland removal scenarios are equally frequent, with owners clearing old runabouts from private lots near the CSX rail corridor and deteriorated pontoons from riverside storage properties off Cabin John Road. Boats recovered from the shallows near Garrett Island require specialized rigging before transport. Each of these situations demands different equipment and permits, which our team coordinates from the first call through final eco conscious disposal.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
