Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Removing a worn-out boat in Proberta off Thomas Road is rarely quick or simple. Rotting hulls fall apart during the removal process. Our crews dismantle masts, clear the boat of gear and electronics, and remove the flybridge if required. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Our team takes care of this for you safely and responsibly, so the process is simple, stress-free and environmentally sound. No stress, just AAA Rousse.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats left idle along the Sacramento River are among the most common removal calls in this area. Craft that grounded or sank near Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area frequently need full recovery operations. Seasonal flooding along the Tehama-Colusa Canal also displaces vessels, leaving owners scrambling to arrange safe, legal disposal before county deadlines pass.
Deteriorating hulls stored on rural properties off River Road often become removal jobs once owners realize repairs are not cost effective. Vessels trailered to Black Butte Lake and then abandoned on nearby land require coordinated hauls back to disposal yards. Jobs near Bend Bridge call for careful routing given overhead clearance and narrow approaches, but our crews handle those logistics routinely.
