Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Rochester, the process of boat removal can turn out to be unexpectedly difficult. Many marinas or property owners want old boats removed quickly, but the process often takes longer than expected due to weather, time sensitivity, towing restrictions on routes like Oberlin Road, and more. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Larger vessels can’t go to a landfill unless we crush or demolish them. Let the AAA Rousse do all the work for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Many boat removal calls in this area come from anglers and recreational boaters who stored vessels near Lake Erie or launched from Showse Park and never reclaimed them after a rough season. Deteriorating hulls left along the Vermilion River are another common request, as flooding and ice damage leave owners unable to move boats without professional help.
Boats abandoned at or near Findley Lake after failed sale attempts make up a steady share of removals in Rochester. French Creek access points also generate calls when waterlogged vessels become stranded on private land. Estate clearances near the Lorain County Fairgrounds area regularly surface neglected trailers and hulls that families need hauled away quickly and responsibly.
