Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Getting rid of a boat in Roscoe that's seen better days can be a real struggle, especially with access off Old Route 17. Unstable boat hulls create safety hazards during transport. Our AAA Rousse Team will take down the masts, remove all gear and electronics, and, when necessary, detach the flybridge. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle that step carefully, making sure it’s done the right way for both you and the environment. Let AAA Rousse professionals handle it all.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boats left unattended at Tennanah Lake or along the banks near Mongaup Road are among the most common removal situations crews handle in Roscoe. Whether a vessel breaks free during a storm, is abandoned after a season, or becomes waterlogged and sinks at the shoreline, Sullivan County code enforcement works with licensed contractors to secure and haul out the boat safely and efficiently.

Similar situations arise near Junction Pool, where swift currents can ground a drifting craft against the rocks, and along Calkins Creek, where low water in late summer leaves boats stranded on exposed gravel bars. In both cases, removal teams assess whether the hull poses an environmental hazard before choosing the appropriate extraction method and transport route.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
