Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Old boat disposal in Scituate often proves frustrating. There is usually limited access to docks or marinas along the Driftway for removal equipment. Our AAA Rousse marine team handles mast removal, gear and electronics stripping, and flybridge cutting when required. Most landfills won’t accept larger vessels in one piece, which means they need to be crushed or demolished first. Our crews handle the entire process safely and efficiently, so you don’t have to worry about the details. Sit back, AAA Rousse has it covered.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal calls in Scituate frequently involve vessels left too long at the Scituate Town Pier or trailered and forgotten at the First Herring Brook boat ramp. Owners upgrading or settling estates often need a full haul from tidal flats along the South River, where shifting sands and seasonal ice accelerate hull deterioration and make self removal impractical.
Storm damage along the rocky shores near Cedar Point leaves wooden hulls waterlogged and beyond repair, prompting urgent removal requests after each nor'easter season. Vessels stored in private lots off Country Way or sunk at their moorings in the inner harbor also account for a steady share of removal jobs throughout the year.
