Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
The reality is that boat removal is often much tougher than it seems for Severn area residents, especially with access constraints along Occoneechee Road. Some older vessels often contain asbestos insulation. Our Teams take off the masts, clear out the boat’s gear and electronics and cut off the flybridge if needed. Larger boats usually need to be crushed or demolished before a landfill will take them - and our team takes care of that process. You just sit back - AAA Rousse takes care of the rest.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat owners in Severn and the surrounding rural area most often need removal services after a vessel is left adrift or abandoned along the Wiccacon River or in the slow backwaters of Choanoke Cut. Seasonal flooding, storm damage, and expired registrations are the leading triggers. Our crew responds quickly to calls from landowners, fishing clubs, and local authorities throughout Northampton County.
Additional common situations include sunken jon boats recovered near Gaston Dam and derelict craft blocking access at Conway Landing after heavy rain pushes debris downstream. Trailers left without vehicles, engines stripped for parts, and vessels with no identifiable owner round out the most frequent cases our team handles across this region each year.
