Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats along the Coosa River are among the most common removal calls we receive, ranging from submerged hulls to neglected pontoons left at the water's edge. Owners who launched from Lock and Dam Park often abandon vessels when they become inoperable. Seasonal flooding and shifting currents also push boats onto private land, and some owners stretched across Floyd County simply inherit unwanted watercraft tied to property sales near Weiss Lake access corridors.
Creekside removals along Dykes Creek present tight access situations where standard tow trucks cannot reach a stranded hull without specialized equipment. Properties along Barron's Mill Road frequently have older boats stored in backyards or on trailers that have not moved in years. Armuchee Creek sees its share of partially sunken vessels after storm seasons, and our crews are trained to extract and dispose of those boats safely and in full compliance with state regulations.
