Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal in Spurr most often involves vessels left behind at the Huron Bay boat ramp or along the shoreline of Lake Gerald after ice season ends. Owners sometimes abandon aging aluminum fishing boats and pontoons when repair costs exceed value. AAA Rousse responds to these calls throughout the season, pulling watercraft from soft ground, shallow water, and overgrown bank edges near the Salmon Trout River corridor.
A second common scenario involves stored boats that have sat too long at private properties near the Baraga County Fairgrounds or along the inland lakes of the Ottawa National Forest fringe. Seasonal camp owners returning in spring discover hulls too deteriorated to register or trailer. Our crew handles documentation, dismantling, and eco conscious disposal so owners avoid state notices and shoreline violations without delay.
