Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Calaveras Reservoir draws recreational boaters throughout the year, and when vessels reach the end of their useful life, owners need a trusted crew to handle removal from the water or from trailered storage nearby. Alameda Creek also presents challenges when watercraft become stranded or abandoned along its banks, requiring careful extraction. Boats launched from Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area are another common source of removal calls.
Vessels trailered in along Niles Canyon Road sometimes break down or become inoperable before ever reaching the water, leaving owners with a bulky haul on their hands. The rural terrain near Pleasanton Ridge means some boats end up stored on private land for years before a removal call is made. Near the Sunol Water Temple corridor, our crew regularly responds to requests for derelict boats sitting on dry ground that need full disposal.
