Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
You might think it's easy, but removing a boat in Tabernash off Grand County Road 8 can be tricky. Limited disposal sites are always a problem. Our crew dismantles the mast, removes all equipment and electronics from the vessel, and, if necessary, detaches the fly bridge. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels in one piece, some prep work is required. We manage the entire process for you, so your boat is ready for disposal without any hassle. Boat removal made simple.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals in Tabernash most often begin after a season on the Colorado River, which flows through the surrounding valley and sees steady recreational use. Owners launching from Arapaho Bay Boat Ramp haul vessels out before winter freezes set in, typically trailering boats back to driveways or covered storage before the first hard frost arrives in early autumn.
A second common scenario involves watercraft stored near US Highway 40, the main corridor through the area, where households keep boats on trailers year round. When a vessel ages out or an owner relocates, removal crews navigate the winding mountain roads to retrieve pontoons and fishing boats, coordinating pickups that must account for high elevation weather and limited turnaround space.
