Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Removing an old or damaged boat in Turner requires more than an unskilled workforce. It requires professionals. Boats taking up space in yards or parking lots near the Alabaster Township boat launch are difficult to move without damage. Crews use proper trailers and equipment to remove them efficiently. Local restrictions, complicated towing, and strict disposal procedures can hold up the process.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Turner, boat removal for older vessels usually isn’t quick or easy. Boats left in backyards near the Arenac County Fairgrounds can be hard to extract without damaging property. The AAA Rousse crew will take down the mast, clear off the gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if we have to, to get the job done. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle all of that on your behalf, so you can relax knowing everything’s being done the right way. We do the hard work and you enjoy the ease.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals in this part of Arenac County often start at the Au Gres Township public boat ramp or along the banks of the Au Gres River, where owners leave behind vessels after flooding or engine failure. Pontoons and fishing boats that have sat waterlogged through harsh Michigan winters are a common call, and the crew regularly works the shoreline between Pointe Au Gres and Whitney to recover them.
Further inland, abandoned boats turn up in farm fields and along Pinconning Road, left by previous owners who ran out of options. Storage lots near the Arenac County fairgrounds fill up with hulls that need licensed disposal rather than another season of sitting. Whether the vessel is on a trailer or sunk into soft ground, the team handles extraction, transport, and eco conscious disposal for each situation.
