Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Removing an unwanted boat in Vidette takes a professional crew to do it right. Old boats frequently have rotten wood, rusted parts, or brittle fiberglass. Professional crews know how to dismantle and dispose of them correctly without injury or contamination. Local restrictions, Rocky Comfort Creek towing logistics, and disposal regulations can slow down boat removal.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Parting with an old boat in Vidette isn’t always a simple task. EPA guidelines for fuel, oil, and hazardous waste must be followed, even on jobs reached by Midville Road. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Most larger vessels cannot be accepted at landfills unless they are crushed or demolished. Let our AAA Rousse experts handle the entire process.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around this part of Burke County most often starts at Brier Creek, where neglected vessels get stranded along muddy banks after seasonal flooding leaves owners unable to recover them on their own. Rocky Comfort Creek sees similar situations, with jon boats and small motorboats sinking into soft creek beds. Waterlogged hulls and storm debris make professional extraction the only safe option for most owners in this area.
Storage removal is another common call, as aging pontoons and flat bottom fishing boats left on rural properties along the Ogeechee River corridor deteriorate past the point of sale. Owners in Vidette also contact us when county code enforcement flags abandoned boats on private land near Bark Camp Creek. In each case our crew handles the full process from permitting to eco conscious disposal without putting the burden on the property owner.
