Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
You might think it's easy, but removing a boat in Warthen off Sandersville Road can be tricky. Limited disposal sites are always a problem. Our crew dismantles the mast, removes all equipment and electronics from the vessel, and, if necessary, detaches the fly bridge. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels in one piece, some prep work is required. We manage the entire process for you, so your boat is ready for disposal without any hassle. Boat removal made simple.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal in this area most often involves vessels that have sat unused along the Oconee River or have been stored on rural properties for years. Owners dealing with flood damage near Lake Sinclair or deteriorating hulls on land frequently call for full removal and disposal. Washington County timber roads and low water crossings can complicate trailer access, making professional crews essential for safe extraction.
A second common scenario involves partially submerged or storm beached boats near the Georgia Veterans State Park boat ramp, where private recovery is restricted and requires coordination. Pontoon boats and aluminum fishing vessels abandoned on private land near Deepstep Road are also regularly scheduled for dismantling and eco conscious disposal. Warthen crews handle these rural and waterfront jobs with the same documented process and signed release paperwork.
