Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Parting with an old boat in Wellington on Lake Wesserunsett isn't always a simple task. EPA guidelines for fuel, oil, and hazardous waste must be followed. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Most larger vessels cannot be accepted at landfills unless they are crushed or demolished. Let our AAA Rousse experts handle the entire process.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around Wellington often begins on Abbott Pond or nearby Peaked Mountain Pond, where neglected vessels have been left at the water's edge or partially submerged after a season of disuse. Owners sometimes discover that a forgotten aluminum skiff or rotted wooden hull has become a compliance issue, prompting a call for professional extraction and lawful disposal from these remote inland waters.
Storage situations are equally common, with boats left behind on rural properties bordering Guilford Bog or tucked into barn lots near the Dover Foxcroft Road corridor. When an estate changes hands or a landowner simply runs out of options, our crews step in to haul sailboats, motorboats, and pontoons from tight driveways and overgrown lots, handling every step from strapping to certified disposal.
