Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Parting with an old boat along the Ohio River in Wesley isn't always a simple task. EPA guidelines for fuel, oil, and hazardous waste must be followed. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Most larger vessels cannot be accepted at landfills unless they are crushed or demolished. Let our AAA Rousse experts handle the entire process.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat owners around the Muskingum Valley area frequently contact us after a vessel sinks or becomes stranded along the banks near Raven Rock. Storm surges and rising water levels on the Little Muskingum River push neglected hulls into shallow coves or against docks, making self recovery impossible. We extract and haul these waterlogged boats safely and in full compliance with Washington County environmental rules.
Abandoned pontoons and aging motorboats are also commonly found stored behind properties near the Moss Run area or tied to private docks along Sawmill Creek. Owners selling land or settling estates often discover vessels they no longer want and need fast, documented removal. Our team handles the full process from disconnecting fuel lines to final disposal, giving sellers a clean and clear property.
