RV and Motorhome Disposal in Blair, Illinois

If an old motorhome has been sitting in a low spot near the Little Wabash River long enough to sink into the ground, getting it out takes more than just a truck and a trailer. Plenty of rural landowners in communities like Sailor Springs bought a camper with good intentions, parked it out back, and never found the right time to deal with it again. AAA Rousse handles the full removal process the same way whether the RV is on a tidy lot in Clay City or sitting deep on an overgrown rural property. We take care of the title paperwork and liability release so you are no longer connected to the unit, whether it sat along Illinois Route 45 or at the back of a farm. From a rusted out fifth wheel in Oskaloosa Township to a pop up camper wedged beside a barn, Blair area landowners trust AAA Rousse to get the job done right.

Campers & RVs We Haul Away

RVs end up abandoned for all kinds of reasons, from mechanical failures to family situations, and the small towns around Xenia are no exception. Some campers in Clay County were bought for fishing weekends out near Ayers Sand Lake and simply never made another trip after the first few seasons. AAA Rousse hauls away pop up campers, travel trailers, motorhomes, fifth wheels, and semitrailers converted for living, whether a unit sits in Bible Grove or anywhere else in the county. Our crew works regularly throughout the Louisville area and knows how to navigate gravel lanes, soft ground, and tight farm entrances without damaging the property. When a unit is parked off a narrow stretch like Maple Grove Road with no easy turnaround, we plan the approach before the truck ever leaves our lot so the haul goes smoothly.

We remove:

  • Campers
  • RVs
  • Tent Trailers
  • Fifth Wheel Campers
  • Motor Coaches
  • Motorhomes
  • Mobile Homes
  • Pop Up Campers
  • Travel Trailers
  • Toy Haulers
  • Camping Vans
  • Winnebagos
  • Airstreams
  • Hybrid Trailers
  • And More!

Common RV Removal and Disposal Scenarios in Blair, IL

RV removal in this part of Clay County often means a travel trailer parked beside a creek bottom like Honey Creek, where the ground stays soft and the unit has slowly settled over several seasons. Properties in Stanford Township frequently include long gravel drives and back fields where a camper sat through years of rain, ice, and summer heat without ever moving. Soft soil and low lying ground can shift a unit off level, making a simple haul into a winch and pull operation before the trailer ever reaches the road.

RVs stored down rutted field roads off Pixley Road often develop roof damage first, followed by floor rot and mold that spreads through the interior walls within a couple of seasons. Water that pooled after flooding near Richview Junction has left some campers with frames that need extra rigging just to keep the unit intact during loading. AAA Rousse removes motorhomes that will not start, trailers with flat or missing tires, and heavily deteriorated units that other haulers have turned away.

Larger coaches parked in open lots are generally the most straightforward to remove, though a clear exit path still needs to be confirmed before equipment is committed to the job. Units stored on sloped lots off Kinmundy Road or backed into old outbuildings near Iola take more preparation, since a unit that will not roll freely has to be winched into position before loading can begin. Condition, ground firmness, whether the unit rolls, and the distance to a paved road all shape how each removal is planned and executed.

The family owned company was wonderful! They came in and undertook a very difficult project without complaining and they did it at the price that they quoted to us originally. They were friendly patient hard-working and did a great job! We would not hesitate to call them again and we would recommend them to anyone we know.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!
