RV and Motorhome Disposal in Riceville, Iowa

Has your old motorhome been sitting idle on a gravel pad somewhere off the Wapsipinicon River bottoms for longer than you can remember? Maybe you inherited a travel trailer on a rural lot and never quite found the time or means to deal with it, even as the frame rusted and the roof sagged near the Lime Creek Nature Center corridor. AAA Rousse handles RV removal from properties large and small, including farmsteads between Riceville and Elma that have held onto an old fifth wheel for decades. We take care of the title paperwork and liability release forms, whether the unit is parked behind a shop near the Howard County Fairgrounds or tucked behind a machine shed. From an oversized motorhome squeezed beside a grain bin to a small pop up camper sitting along County Road B64, we handle the heavy lifting so you can put that land back to use.

Campers & RVs We Haul Away

RVs end up abandoned for all kinds of reasons: an engine that gave out, a project that stalled, or a camper that just never got hitched again after the last trip, even on small acreages near Kendallville. A good number of trailers around this part of Howard County were bought for weekend camping at Lidtke Mill Park and have not moved since the last outing. AAA Rousse hauls away pop up campers, full size motorhomes, fifth wheels, semitrailers converted to living quarters, and every other type of RV, including units on farmsteads near Saude. We service properties right along State Highway 9 and well off the pavement, whether the site is easy to reach or requires extra maneuvering. From Chester to the county's farthest corners, AAA Rousse gets the job done quickly and responsibly, completing all the paperwork that releases you from further liability.

Common RV Removal and Disposal Scenarios in Riceville, IA

RV removal in rural Howard County often starts with a neglected travel trailer that has been sitting in a farm lot off County Road A38 for years, waiting on repairs that never happened. Properties in this part of northeast Iowa tend to have long driveways, low hanging branches, and uneven ground that make routing a tow vehicle around a large fifth wheel more complicated than it first appears. Planning the approach before the crew arrives makes a real difference in how smoothly the haul goes.

Low areas near Riceville Creek see seasonal flooding, and campers parked in those spots often develop water damage, soft floors, and mold that accelerates quickly through a unit. Older travel trailers near Pratt that have sat through several wet seasons may have frames that are compromised enough to require extra rigging before the unit can be safely loaded. AAA Rousse handles motorhomes that will not start, units with flat or missing tires, and RVs with fire or water damage in any condition.

Units stored near the Old Mill District on the edge of town are often more accessible, though even those hauls require a clear exit route when the RV is large. Campers parked on sloped farmstead lots along the Iowa 9 corridor sometimes need to be winched before they can be loaded, especially when the unit has not rolled in years. Condition, site access, and whether the unit can move under its own weight all shape how a removal is planned and carried out.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).

Is the service environmentally friendly?

Yes. AAA Rousse disposes of RVs through licensed recycling and salvage partners, keeping as much material as possible out of landfills and handling fluids and hazardous components according to applicable regulations.

Yes. Landlords and property managers can arrange RV removal directly, including for units left behind by former tenants on rural rental properties near the Turkey River headwaters area. We handle the liability paperwork as part of the process.

In addition to RVs, we remove vehicles, boats, trailers, and other large items that have outlived their usefulness on a property. Contact us to confirm whether a specific item qualifies.

Yes. A salvage title does not prevent us from removing and processing a vehicle. We handle the documentation regardless of the unit's title status.

Yes. Reusable parts and recyclable materials from RVs are sorted and directed to appropriate processors. The goal is to recover value from the unit wherever it is safely possible to do so.

Call us at 641-435-9335 or book online. We will gather some basic details about the unit and the site, give you a price, and schedule a pickup at a time that works for you.
