Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Shorter residents near Yates Lake often discover that old boat disposal is anything but simple. Fiberglass disposal is challenging and limited in facilities. Our crews dismantle masts, clear the boat of gear and electronics, and remove the flybridge if required. Most large boats need to be crushed or dismantled before a landfill will accept them. We’ve got it covered - let AAA Rousse take care of everything for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat owners around Lake Martin and Yates Lake often need removal help when aging vessels become too costly to maintain or are abandoned at shared docks. Along the Coosa River corridor, watercraft left after estate sales or repossessions are a common call for our crews, who handle everything from sunken hulls to neglected pontoons sitting in overgrown slips.
On Lake Tuskegee, storm damage and long term neglect leave many fiberglass hulls in need of professional extraction and eco conscious disposal. Owners living near Uphapee Creek frequently contact us after realizing their trailer stored or water moored boats no longer pass inspection. Our team navigates access challenges off Highway 14 to reach properties others cannot, completing every removal cleanly and in full compliance.
