Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
The process of getting rid of a junk boat in Point Baker near Cold Water Creek is often more challenging than it first appears. Boats partially sunk are extremely difficult to lift, float, and tow. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Larger vessels often require demolition or crushing before they can be disposed of at a landfill. We take care of this step for you, making the entire removal and disposal process smooth and stress-free. AAA Rousse - we do it all, so you don’t have to.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals in Point Baker most often begin along the Yellow River, where vessels are pulled from docks and lifted onto trailers after storm damage or end of season layups. Owners along Tiger Point Road frequently call for removal when a boat has sat unused for years and needs hauling to a nearby storage yard for inspection or disposal.
Boats stored near Oriole Beach sometimes require removal after hurricane flooding leaves hulls stranded in yards far from the waterline. Santa Rosa County crews coordinate pickups along surface roads connecting these low lying neighborhoods, retrieving vessels damaged by surge and transporting them for salvage, title transfer, or auction once the owner or insurance adjuster has completed their assessment.
