Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Old boat disposal in Sims often proves frustrating. There is usually limited access to Au Gres Harbor docks or marinas for removal equipment. Our AAA Rousse marine team handles mast removal, gear and electronics stripping, and flybridge cutting when required. Most landfills won’t accept larger vessels in one piece, which means they need to be crushed or demolished first. Our crews handle the entire process safely and efficiently, so you don’t have to worry about the details. Sit back, AAA Rousse has it covered.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around Sims often begins at Lake Huron shoreline properties where aging pontoons and motorboats have sat idle for years. Owners near the Au Gres State Harbor and the Singing Bridge area regularly call for hauls after hulls deteriorate beyond use. Storm damage and ice shifts along these shores make timely removal both urgent and technically demanding for our crews.
Inland removals are just as common, with vessels pulled from private lots and storage yards near the Rifle River Recreation Area and the wetland edges off Alger Road. Sunken or partially submerged boats in backwater channels feeding into Wigwam Bay require specialized lifting equipment. Sims crews manage every step, from rigging to legal disposal, so property owners face no lingering liability.
