Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Unwanted boats in Negley near Ohioville Bottom tend to be more complicated to remove than expected. Specialized cranes or barges may be required. Our team takes down the mast, removes the boat’s equipment and electronics, and cuts off the flybridge if needed. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Don’t worry - our team takes care of that for you, making the whole process simple and stress-free. Relax - we’ve got it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats left along Little Beaver Creek after flooding seasons are among the most common removal calls we receive near Negley. Vessels stranded at or near Lock 21 often require crane access and careful extraction from the current. Abandoned fishing boats near the Columbiana County Fairgrounds Ramp are frequently reported as hazards by local authorities and need prompt, permitted removal.
Watercraft left to deteriorate along Sandy Creek present both environmental and safety concerns, especially after ice damage each winter. The Elkrun Township boat launch area sees regular requests for removal of sunken or derelict hulls blocking access for other boaters. Seasonal property turnover along Ohio Route 165 corridors also generates calls from new landowners discovering old boats left behind on their lots.
