Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals in this area frequently involve vessels stranded along Bayou des Familles or left to deteriorate at the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve boat ramps. Flooding from seasonal storms pushes many hulls into marshland, and owners often discover their craft has become a legal liability before they can arrange a tow. The combination of soft ground and narrow access lanes makes professional extraction essential.
Other common calls come from slips at the Lafitte Harbor Marina and from storage lots near the Nunez Road corridor, where aging pontoons and flat boats are left after owners upgrade or relocate. Tidal surges can shift a boat several yards overnight, complicating removal logistics considerably. Our crew handles permitting, water extraction, and responsible recycling so owners avoid fines and environmental violations in Jefferson Parish.
