Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Unwanted boats in Floridatown near Floridatown Landing tend to be more complicated to remove than expected. Specialized cranes or barges may be required. Our team takes down the mast, removes the boat’s equipment and electronics, and cuts off the flybridge if needed. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Don’t worry - our team takes care of that for you, making the whole process simple and stress-free. Relax - we’ve got it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Floridatown sits along Blackwater Bay and Escambia Bay, where boats are regularly abandoned on the water or left to deteriorate at private docks. Owners who inherit vessels or let registrations lapse often need full removal services, from pulling sunken hulls out of shallow coves to hauling neglected pontoons off private waterfront lots near the Floridatown Park boat ramp.
Storm damage along Garcon Point Road and the surrounding shoreline frequently leaves vessels grounded or partially submerged after seasonal weather events. Many removals also involve boats stored on trailers that have sat too long on private land near Blackwater River tributaries, requiring crane assistance or barge access to complete a safe extraction and responsible disposal.
