Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Boat removal services in Granada must be carried out by professionals to be done right. Boats with seized engines are heavy and difficult to transport. Professionals use winches, cranes, and tow rigs to remove them safely. Strict local ordinances, difficult towing arrangements near the Amity Canal, and disposal laws can slow removal efforts.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Granada boat owners are discovering that boat removal and disposal takes more time and effort than they realized. Shallow waters or sandbars near the Granada boat ramp in Granada can make boat transport very difficult. AAA Rousse’s crew handles all the dismantling: removing masts, stripping electronics and gear, and cutting the flybridge if required. Because landfills generally do not take large vessels as-is, extra steps like crushing or dismantling are required. We manage this process from start to finish, ensuring your boat is prepared and accepted without hassle. Stress-free boat removal? Leave it to us.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal in Granada most often starts with aging or neglected vessels stored near the Arkansas River corridor, where owners find their craft too deteriorated to sell or trailer out. Calls also come from rural properties around Two Buttes Reservoir, where pontoons and flat bottom boats sit half sunken or dry docked after seasons of disuse, requiring heavy lift equipment and experienced crews to extract safely.
A second common scenario involves flood or storm damaged hulls left stranded on private land bordering the Amity Canal, sometimes partially buried in silt and debris after high water events. In Prowers County, owners also contact us after discovering a purchased property already holds an abandoned vessel, needing full dismantling, title paperwork guidance, and eco conscious disposal before the land can be put to use.
