Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Owners around Elevenmile Canyon Reservoir and Spinney Mountain Reservoir often find themselves with aged or storm damaged vessels they can no longer register or sell. Boats left at the water's edge through harsh Colorado winters deteriorate quickly, and coordinating a proper removal from these high elevation sites requires equipment and permits that most owners do not have on hand.
Landlocked storage situations are equally common near Tarryall Creek, where properties hold trailered hulls that have not moved in years. Antero Reservoir anglers sometimes retire old aluminum fishing boats on adjacent parcels when repairs exceed the vessel's value. In both cases, Guffey crews from AAA Rousse manage the full process from load up through licensed disposal, keeping Park County waterways and private lands clear.
