Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Safe and reliable boat removal in Hodge depends on our skilled crews with the right tools. Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
What seems like a quick fix, getting rid of an old boat in Hodge, can become complicated. There is always a risk of spills into waterways such as Black Bayou or streets from fuel while transporting. Our AAA Rousse Team will take down the masts, remove all gear and electronics, and, when necessary, detach the flybridge. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels as-is, we handle the crushing or demolition when needed. Let us do the heavy lifting - AAA Rousse has it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Anglers and recreational boaters around Caney Lake and Cornie Lake frequently leave aging vessels tied up or beached when a boat reaches the end of its useful life. Hulls left in these waters can become hazards, and owners often need a full haul out, including waterlogged frames and outboard engines. Some boats stored near Lake Bistineau sit idle for years before families finally call for removal.
Flood seasons along the Ouachita River and Boeuf River push deteriorated boats onto private land, creating urgent removal needs for landowners in Hodge. Vessels stranded in shallow flats or wedged against tree lines near Saline Lake require specialized lifting equipment and experienced crews who understand local waterway conditions before attempting extraction.
