Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Mappsville, the process of boat removal can turn out to be unexpectedly difficult. Many marinas or property owners want old boats removed quickly, but the process often takes longer than expected due to weather, time sensitivity, towing restrictions along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, and more. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Larger vessels can’t go to a landfill unless we crush or demolish them. Let the AAA Rousse do all the work for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around the marshlands and tidal creeks feeding into Pocomoke Sound often involves partially submerged hulls that have settled into soft mud after years of neglect. Crews working near the Accomack Landing boat ramp and along Folly Creek regularly encounter vessels that require specialized rigging just to reach the water surface before any haul can begin.
Storage yards near the Virginia line on the Eastern Shore fill up seasonally, leaving owners looking to clear out aging fiberglass hulls after the fishing season ends. Derelict boats tied off along Pitts Creek or left in low lying lots off Bayside Road present waterway obstruction concerns, making timely professional removal essential for both property owners and local waterway managers in Accomack County.
