Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
What seems like a quick fix, getting rid of an old boat in Naples, can become complicated. There is always a risk of spills into waterways or streets from fuel while transporting near Canandaigua Lake State Marine Park. Our AAA Rousse Team will take down the masts, remove all gear and electronics, and, when necessary, detach the flybridge. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels as-is, we handle the crushing or demolition when needed. Let us do the heavy lifting - AAA Rousse has it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats on Canandaigua Lake frequently need removal after winter storm damage or years of neglect at seasonal docks near the Naples end of the lake. Owners launching from the Woodville boat ramp or storing rigs near the Bristol Valley area often call us when a hull becomes unsalvageable, waterlogged, or too deteriorated to trailer out safely without professional equipment.
Along Seneca Lake shorelines and the quiet coves feeding into Keuka Lake Outlet, abandoned or derelict vessels pile up when estate sales stall or owners simply walk away. We respond to calls near the Hi Tor Wildlife Management Area corridor and along lakeside properties in Ontario County, cutting apart decayed hulls, pumping bilges, and coordinating lawful disposal so the waterway stays clean.
