Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
St. Florian residents are discovering that an old, dilapidated boat past its prime isn’t easy to get off their hands. The large size and heavy weight of many boats are definitely a challenge while transporting along Wilson Dam Road. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels in one piece, we manage the crushing or demolition so you don’t have to worry about it. We handle it all - you just relax.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal in St. Florian most often begins when owners trailer vessels off properties along Cox Creek Road after a season on the Tennessee River. Waterlogged hulls, dead outboards, and storm damaged pontoons are common requests here, where rural driveways and overgrown lots make access tricky for a standard tow rig without specialized equipment on hand.
Owners who kept boats near the Natchez Trace Parkway corridor or staged them beside county storage properties along Lauderdale County back roads frequently call when a vessel becomes unregistered or unsellable. The Tennessee River itself draws recreational boaters whose neglected crafts end up idle on trailers for years before a professional junk boat removal crew is finally contacted.
